New Class! Colors of Freedom
Be one of the first to sign up for our NEW class "The Colors of Freedom". We are doing this class just in time for the upcoming Momorial Day and 4th of July holidays. What a great way to honor those that gave their lives for our freedom and to celebrate independence. This is a great class and a fantastic way to learn many different needlepoint stitches. New Class! Stitching on Linen
Have you always wanted to learn to stitch on Linen? This is your chance. We will be working on the "Friendship Sampler" by Patricia Ann Designs. In this class not only will you learn how to stitch on Linen but you will also learn many new stitches as well. Janet will teach you the Four Sided Stitch, Satin Stitches, Smyrna Cross, a modified Leviathan, Eyelet, Scotch Stitch, Herringbone, Rhodes stitch, Kloster Blocks and beading techniques.

We have a Fabulous new class to offer you this spring! Do you have a piece of jewelry that you would like to add some flair to, or a special trinket that you would like into a piece of jewelry? Then this is the class for you. This is one class the I'm sure going to take. Please be advised that the follow pictures do not do these items justice. Brazilian Embroidery Spring Flowers
We have two new Brazilian Embroidery classs. These classes are specifically designed for beginners. You will learn how to make beautiful leaves, vines, french knots, and many other Brazilian Embroidery stitches . Both projects area quick stitch and the end result makes a beautiful Victorian accent piece. We have three Brazilian Embroidery classes scheduled and hope that one fits your schedule. Bobbie Lear will be teaching this class. Many of you have seen Bobbie at the Sotterley Quilt and Needlework Show demonstrating the beautiful art of Brazilian Embroidery. We feel very lucky to have such a talented stitcher teaching our Brazilian embroidery classes so join us for either the Carnation and Blueberries class or the Spring Flowers class or both, if you would like!

Mother's Heart Class
Join us for one of our Mother's Heart classes. This ribbon embroidery design would make a GREAT Mother's Day gift. In this class you will learn how to make ribbon roses, stem stitch, couching, french knots, Japanese leaf stitch, braided leaf stitch and lazy daisy. Everyone heart will be their own personl heart. Christmas Cardinal Stocking Class
Deb is back to teach the Christmas Cardinal Stocking. If you have wanted to learn Hardanger, now is your chance. This class is five sessions and will meet once a month. Your stocking will be finished in time for Christmas, too. In the final class you will learn how to put your stocking together or you may opt to have Stitch Today finish the stocking for you, if you are not a seamstress or do not have a sewing machine. You will also learn new stitches in this class such as, Blanket stitch, herringbone, Smyrna rice stitch, Algerian eyelet, Rhodes heart, Double running, Leviathan, and Nun's stitch.

Thread Bead and Accessory Boxes
Have you seen the "Lear" thread, bead, and accessory boxes for the needlework artist? Each box is hand crafted right here in Calvert County by Mr. Dorie Lear. Mr. Lear has won many awards for his fine woodworking and craftmanship. The boxes are all lined and made of solid wood. Several of the boxes have inset areas where the stitcher can place a stitched monogram or floral motif. The Lear box makes a wonderful gift for any occassion. Prices range from $50 - $270 .
